All of these beaches have won Safe Bathing status, ensuring clean and shallow waters that are safe for paddling. During low tide, you can also explore the many rock pools. If you want to venture further, take the daily ferry from Fisherman’s Cove to Salcombe’s busier beach. Mill Bay is privately owned and can be accessed from the South West Coast Path and private access path. Public access is signposted, and Andy Cove can only be reached by foot, with the last section being steep.
